today i looked at fancy dresses. recently, lolita and EGL fashion have caught my eye. the skirts are so poofy!! i really appreciate the way there are clear rules and guidelines to follow, it makes it easy for my brain to understand. lolita is big on the silhouette and color/pattern coordination. a related style, aristocrat (sometimes called EGA) is even more attractive to me. the long skirts, fancy detail work, and overall very historical/elegant vibe is gorgeous!! mayhaps i will save up and invest in some pieces for both my performances and my everyday wear.
